I feel much better today. I came back in contact with the real world and with the passion I always had to do kickass programming. I finished writing the generic functions I was talking about yesterday for the poll component.Now, of course, I could just tell my self "job well done Jean-Paul" and go watch a movie. But... I've got a nice idea popping up in my head. What is a poll system except a survey? And what's the use for the results of a survey if the end-user (we geeks are comfortable with our PHP generated table results and graphs) cannot use it electronically? That is, he's got the results alrgiht but now he has to copy and paste to an datasheet table etc...

So my idea is to make his job easier: use PEAR::Spreadsheet_Excel_Writer to let the user export the results to an excel spreadsheet. I would also like to generate the same graphs as the one I generate in html but I don't know yet whether this is possible with the class. I will let you guys know later during the day with what I've come accross.
